When I making Vanari Dawnrider, I tried color schemes that far from what I used to. From beige of horse, white armor with golden trim, to blue purple cloth.

I used GW Wraithbone spray as basecoat, try to use contrast paint to speed up to white armor processing. The coverage of spray not as well as I thought.. even the base paint from the GW. It took me a lot of time to brush to recover it.

I felt anxious from the project began that not smooth.

The white armor I was intend to make it looks pearl white, but I can't reach it. White color is not easy paint job with basecoat problem... and the shade of white is not well as I thought. The result of armor looks normal and flat after I made tones of paint job to fix it.

The gold color ratio I mixed gold and silver about 1:2. The GW Liberator gold was my first choice, due to the coverage not well so I have to mix color myself to save time. The golden trim of white armor took many time to fix so the outcomes looks completed in piece. Even a little fault can make it looks incomplete.

The blue color had some issue. The color I wanted to use was more violet touching, but in fact, the color looks wrong after painted. The highlight color will make the whole feel more fancy rather than solemn. My own self conclusion is base on stormcast's blue touching mix some purple touching. For now it is difficult for me to sort out the color scheme. Probably I be able to figure it out when I make the another knight.

Even though the overall process was uneventful and lengthy, I was delighted to finally be able to get this beautiful knight and warhorse to gallop the battlefield.

I think the experience of this project will also make my next work more complete and vivid ~ Cheers.

製作梵納禮晨曦騎兵時，我嘗試了不同於以往習慣的配色，從馬匹的砂色，白色盔甲與金色勾邊到藍紫色布匹都是。

本來製作上是想嘗試用噴 GW 的 Wraithbone 打底，用對比漆製作白色盔甲，來加速製作流程，但我從打底開始就覺得不對，噴罐的顯色不如我預期飽滿，想說用筆塗去補底漆... Wraithbone 的顏料跟噴罐一樣遮蓋力不佳，我得花好大功夫去補到我理想中的狀態，一開始就不順利讓平時時間就很少的我感到焦躁。

白色的盔甲我預想做出珍珠白的質感但一直做不到我理想的樣子，白色本來就不容易，又加上底漆的不順利與暗面的色彩一直不如我預期，之中修修補補也是花了我很多時間但效果也只是普普。

金色我是用金 1 + 銀 2 這樣的比例去調出較淺的金色，本來是要用 GW 的 Liberator Gold，但是遮蓋力與顯色完全不行所以省不了時間，但最麻煩的是邊緣要做完整，尤其是要與白色盔甲相接的地方，一點點差錯都會感覺不完整... 所以很費功夫。

藍紫色則是顯色的問題，我本想要用的紫色有點類似紫羅蘭的感覺，但實際上色後來看有點不對，尤其是高光色會讓整體流於花俏的感覺而不是莊重，最後自己的結論是以小金人的藍色帶紫這樣的感覺來繪製，過程中修修改改的我也很難整理出用色，大概等做第二支騎士時才能完整的整理出來。

縱使整體過程中雖然很不順利以及冗長，但最後能讓這名帥氣的騎士以及充滿躍動的戰馬在戰場上奔馳還是令我雀躍。

我想這中間的經驗也會讓我的下一個作品更加完整生動～分享之。
